My husband and I started watching this when someone from Blockbuster recommended it and we've been hooked since! It's HBO so that makes it all the better. It has a strong female lead, which Anna Paquin nailed, and some great eye candy (Alexander Skarsgard, Stephen Moyer, and Joe Manganiello). Every season leaves you hanging, but it makes waiting for the next season so much more intense. They are 5 seasons in and still going strong. It has conflict, love stories, violence, and in true HBO fashion, lots of sex. So if that makes you uncomfortable this show is not for you. If you like Twilight, then this show is definitely not for you. This has hardcore vampires, shape shifters, and werewolves. If you have good tastes, you'll love this!
